Today was the day of our party / pot luck. We had originally intended it to be a progressive dinner. Given that we are the only ones that drove to Trois Riviéres with a trailer and have pots, pans, cups etc it gave us a bit of an unfair advantage. We decided to have a picnic instead, catered by Sandy, Diana and me.
It is incredible what Sandy was able to create from a few bags of groceries and $6 per person. Garlic shrimp, bocconcini and tomato salad, mini quiches, roasted chickens, tortellini salad and hot tortellini with alfredo sauce. I could go on, but needless to say it was a feast and we still have about a third left in our fridge!
