Day 3 - Revelstoke to Banff 296km

The day started out with a lovely drive through the Rockies. Lots of great scenery. I had to keep telling the kids to put their book and DS down and enjoy the views while we have them. There’s a whole lot of nothing coming up after Alberta.

Little Critter

Lake Louise was spectacular. A bit cloudy and cool. The Chateau was awesome. Great shops. From Lake Louise it was just a short drive to Banff where we pulled into the Tunnel Mountain campsite. We are camped right next to a gopher city. There are holes everywhere and the little critters are quite brazen - probably from people feeding them.

Later that evening, after a short walk around the village of Banff we relaxed in the hot springs.

No driving tomorrow. We drive to Drumheller on Wednesday morning.
