I know what you’re thinking. How are they going to get anywhere at this rate? Well, its not the Amazing Race! We have a plan and we are sticking to it. Mostly. We planned to stay with Karen and Kenny until tomorrow but decided to push on since they told us about the Enchanted Forest, 32km before Revelstoke. Plus it was free for Dads on Fathers Day. The Enchanted Forest is home to the tallest treehouse in BC.

We are now sitting in our trailer at the Revelstoke KOA with the thunderous sound of rain on our roof. We just finished a lovely meal at ‘The Village Idiot’ (I felt drawn to it) did a little shopping and headed back to the KOA for an early night. We are exhausted! We are worried about burn out! We have to ease off this relentless pace! It was a late night last night, especially for the kids. Since we didn’t even sleep in the trailer this is kind of our first night ‘on the road’.
I don’t even know if the kids are even going to contribute to this amazing journal. How can they compete with my humour. Happy Fathers Day - to me! If you think I’m funny, wait till Jenny gets going...
Off to Banff tomorrow 283 km.
Breaking News!
Rogers Pass is currently closed due to a mud slide! We will have to check this out on the inter web. Karen and Kenny, don’t put our bedding away just yet!
