Today we hiked Middle Beach with a Parks Canada guide. Parks Canada have been awesome throughout our trip.
Last night we had a beach talk and campfire with some ghost stories at beach campsite. Our guide is a university student that spends her summers earning some extra money while sharing her knowledge with us.
After our two hour hike we drove up to the Mira Falls. Not a huge waterfall but fresh clean water with some great jump off spots. We didn’t have the camera with us yesterday so we don’t have any photos of this.
I stopped in at a seafood shop and bought a recently cooked 2lb lobster to munch on at the falls. It was $9.99/lb and was delicious. The lady in the shop kindly cracked it for me in a couple of key spots. We still had our lobster pickers from Baddeck so I was well armed to tackle the brute. It was awesome! No butter, no salad, nothing but a huge monster and me! Yum.
Later in the afternoon we went don to the Ingonish golf club and rented a couple of golf carts and toured the golf course. I let Jemma drive for a bit. It’s a beautiful course, one of the best in Canada and top 100 in the world.
